Something got fried...
As Tim said this car is in a bit of trouble. The electrical system has been stressed and you have found its weakest point. Experienced electricians have made mistakes too but I really think this could lead to major issues and breakdowns if you continue. Please consider using a professional when you can afford it, and if you cant (we have all been poor) take your time, make notes, mark the leads you lift them. These tips will save time and money.
The folks on here can help, ask!

OK... I fixed it now... I reconnected the wires with a lot of electrical tape. The car is running properly now.
Immediately after the car was ****ed up I took out all the wiring.
Once again after I fixed this wire, I tried to put the chassis ground on. This time it went on proper with no sparking.
I think what I did before is I had the power on the negative battery and I was putting the chassis ground on the positive. That would also explain why my amp didn't work when I was grounding it.
Like I said it was like 2AM yesterday when I was wiring it up so I wansn't thinking straight.
this is what I think happened.

I'd be glad to come out and help a fellow car audio enthusiast.

I hate to say, I told you so, so I will say..... I told you so. PLease put your tools down, and seek help from a professional. I mean yeah it sucks to pay a whole wopping $60 to install an amp, but hey, it's better than burning your friends car to the ground (which is basically where you are headed).
