Hey guys, I just recently purchased 4 brand new Selenium 6wp4's to install in my front doors. As I was inspecting one, I heard something moving around inside. It seems like its a small piece under the cone or dust cover maybe but I cant seem to get at it. If I shake the speaker it will sometimes make a noise, and other times its like it isn't there. I decided to install it anyway. And it drives me crazy when I it moving around. Some songs I don't hear it at all but other songs its much more apparent. I really have no idea when it is but I know its very small.

Any ideas on how to get it out? The only thing I can think of it to try to remove the dust cap and hope it can come free. The speaker sounds fine and I feel that is doesn't effect its performance (other than than hearing the loose piece).

Aside from trying to get Selenium to replace it, removing the dustcap is likely your best bet.
