I was looking the other day at 403+Dundas HD. I think what he is talking about is Bakor Blueskin. It was $138 and change for 200 sq ft. They had some other rolls 9"x50' for about $40. I'm not 100 percent sure but 90% sure that is what's being talked about. I'm not gonna try until someone confirms they have used that exact stuff with no problems. If the Bakor would work then most likely this other stuff called Resisto would work. You can get the Resisto with a foil backing 9"x50' for $60-$65 at Rona. Someone tell us if they have used either.

It's all asphalt based.

Bakor is SBS modified bitumen membrane reinforced with a blue polyethylene film

SBS Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene = Rubber

Bitumen = In American English is referred to as 'asphalt' or 'asphalt cement' in engineering jargon.

Rubber+Ashphalt=Rubberized Ashpalt

B-quiet is rubberized asphalt product (go read about extreme)

How much different could they be? Not much IMO

But still not taking chances till I'm 100% confident.

Well, I tried this today on a 04 Ram, one layer of B-Quiet on the front door and 4 layers of crap on a roll for the rear door. Front door reacts far better.
