what size speaker would fit into a 97 cavalier front door and rear ?? thanks

Fronts take a 4x6 or with a little work you can fit up to a 6 1/2 component set in there. Rears are 6x9's.

is it the same for 03?

How much room is there in the doors I have not had the chance to pukk the door panel off yet but I am considering trying to mount a PG nine in the door.

You can squeeze a oversize 6.5" woofer in the door when it is spoaced on a mininimum of 1/2" mdf or 3/4" mdf. Some woofer cones may hit the backside of the door panel if you are not carefull. Some minor cutting of the metal may have to be done as well. An easy upgrade leaving the door panel stock. The same for an 03.
