anyone had much success with this?


Just set my cell phone up with my head unit (new cell phone works much better, granted there's still a tad of an echo). More importantly the idea of being able to stream music from my phone to my stereo is neat.

Sadly every song i tried to play resulted in an error (can't remember if it was java or what).

Anyone had much experience or luck in this?

I was working with:

Alpine IVA-W200 (HU)
Alpine KCA-100BT (bluetooth interface between the phone and HU)
Telus/Motorola KRZR KM1 (Phone).

 

I'm using my phone, the Nokia 5300 expressmusic and hu is the Sony MEX-BT2500. It works quite well to my suprise. The quality isnt perfect or anywhere near it but it serves the purpose.

 

I don't think A2DP is enabled on the north american version of the K1M, only on the ones sold in asia...

 

Good call, i checked and you're right, A2DP is not a function built into the mobo on the K1M
