StringPro Caps

Wow, it has been a while since I logged in. Okay... down to business.

I'm picking up this StingPro 1.5 Farad Cap. Has anyone ever heard of StringPro before?? Are they any good??

I think they are one of those imitation brands.

Stinger = Stingpro
I've seen them on ebay. I don't think it would matter much for such things as caps.

But you might want to double check the specs like ESR and tolerence, just to be sure.....

What kind of numbers should I be looking at for those specs?

ESR would be anywhere between 1.5 to 3.5 milliohms. You want the lowest possible.

Tolerance is the % of Farad capacity that the cap has to be within. So 1 Farad at %20 tolerance...the cap has to be between 0.8f and 1.2f. Lower the %, the closer you get to truely having 1f
