Other than ordering over the internet where is the best place to buy either carpeting or vinyl to cover a small sub box?

My Yellow Pages (and we're talking Sarnia) lists five places under 'Automotive Seat Covers, Tops, + Upholstery' that I would give a try. I'll bet there's more in yours!

I can bring up a couple of meters, the surplus store here has it by the meter.

 

Call around to audio shops near you.
I know in Scarborough there are a bunch of places that sell it by the meter. Most only have grey, but some carry a few types. I'm sure there must be some places up in the Niagara area.

 

The cheapest I have ever seen carpet is Perfect Tones in Milton, other than that there's a surplus store in Hamilton that sells it for a few bucks more.. although im not sure if that might be too far for you??

 

Picked up a yard of black felt like material at Fabricland this morning. A few shots of spray adhesive and a bit of trimming and I'm done.

Check some of your local auto parts stores too....We sell the stuff...3 different colors..what ever size you need...
