Sub Opinion

Both my Jl WO's just blew and so it's time to update my system. I've decided I don't really need the bass of two subs so I'm going with one this time. I listen to a little bit of everything but mainly hip hop and r&b. I'm going to be running my sub of a Clarion 400.2 amp.

The two subs I'm choosing between are JL W1 and Hertz Energy.

Also what do you think should i get one 12 or one 10. I'm definitely more about a clean sub than a loud one, but of course a bit of power is needed to sooth my bass needs.

Please help

If the space of a 12 isnt a concern, then definately I would go with 1 12. Plays a little lowerer, and you will never have the "what if I had a 12 instead"

I think you should go with a TF 1 sub. They're great for daily and spl competitions. PM Father Yuli for a price.
