ps: my t3 1000d , the second one iv had, is busted again. this time insted of the gain **** its the bass boost ****. i think i will get the remote bass boost thingy to fix the problem, or bring it back- again...

I had a Type-X 10" and loved it to death.1 cube sealed with minimal power(500 w) and it hit low and hard.If low hitting SQ is your forte......the Type-x rocks!

400 is a good chunk of change for a Type X

Look for an IDMAX 10-12, look in the FOR SALE Section here, they pop up every now and than.

you can probably find a new one for around that price.

My friend has 1 x type X in a ported box with 500W and its not loud at all.
it needs lots of power.
I believe Type x's 10inch is rated at 3000W peek and 1000W RMS.

so yeah id say save more money and then get better stereo. if you want louder maybe new amp will be on "to do" list as well

i dont plan on buying a new amp any time soon , it has more then enough power for my needs.

i am woried about the reliability tho.d

im not really interested in buying things over the internet.

If you arent planning getting new amp then maybe you shouldnt go for a 1000W subwoofer?
i myself run two alpine type r's (old style 300WRMS)
my stereo is very loud i think.
or alse maybe two alpine type r's (new style 500WRMS) would match your amp.

it really depends on how good of an ear you got. i can hear a huge difference if the sub is low quality vs my friends who thinks loud is loud no matter what box or subs you got.
