The T3-1000D should easily put out over 1000Wrms into a 4ohm load (testing by PAS revealed it to be more along 1600W) so that should be enough juice to run a type X if you go that way. However, you should know that the type X's are all dual 4ohm which in a single driver set up will give you a 2ohm load or an 8ohm load. The T3-1000D puts out 2700Wrms into a 2ohm load, which would cook a type x if your not careful. A two driver set up with the type X's would give you a 1ohm load or an 4ohm load. The T3-1000D is not 1ohm stable and 800Wrms per sub at 4ohms might not be enough. So IMO you should look at a different sub.
