Doesn't quite work like that. Usually when a product has a frequency range of say 20Hz-15kHz that the item will play outside of that range but not within a certain tolerance of say +/-10db or +/-3db. To validate the range the tolerance really should be there too.

Check ebay and found nothing

. I found a US site selling the Audiocontrol but they want $120 (plus shipping/taxes). Anybody know a Canadian supplier?

But for $10 how can you go wrong (assuming it works). With exchange, taxes, shipping I doubt it would come to more than $50.
