I have an older Kenwood 65x2 or so that I plan to use on a pair of Boston Rally components. Im looking for something with a bit more power/clarity. Thought about a MTX 342 to go along with my MTX 500D, open to any suggestions, looking to spend no more than $300.

I know where I can get a MTX 8302. That would be one helluva powerful front stage amp.

How about the Xtant 2140c JohnnyToronto has in the FS forum. Nice front stage amp.
Unless you want to go with matching MTX amps.

Anything Alpine comes to mind when I think fronts. You can get good deals on them all the time on e-bay, they are fairly priced brand new as well.
