Mobile surround sound

Hey guys, here's what Im running:
2007 Mustang GT>>> Kenwood KVT-815 DVD player, Kenwood KAC-9152D amp, and one 12" Alpine Type R DVC 4ohm(SWR 1242D). I plan on running the sub @ 2ohms.

What would be the best box design for this sub in a surround sound setting? I will mostly be watching DVD's but will definitely listen to music too. I want a nice sounding, deep bass that can be felt for movies.

I've heard the Type R doesn't exactly like sealed boxes...is there any truth to this? What box would you guys go with? Thanks.

I've always been a fan of ported. More output for less power. You will also achieve your "boomy" bass. The bass can still be accurate as well based on how you get your port tuned. ps: My milkshake is better than yours
