spl is. and actually u can stop with your 'goin no where' smart *** comment. not liking u has gotten old a while ago, your comments are simply redundunt now and im not trying to offend u either.

are u guys meaning to tell me that there has never been a very negative experiance in whole of your car audio related career? cmon thats a lie. Im not even involved on the business side, im just a street/stock class spl guy that no one really gives a crap about and yet i see all the sour shiit that happens. Im even reluctant to enter into sponsorship agreements and such, i've done that before but then the product given to u turns out to suck or just not be as good as your own gear then obvously u not gonna use it.....some ppl end up getting upset or mad and then u get dragged into the politics of it....

car audio is not all shiits and gigle, just like any other industry its full of politics and bullshiit. and just like any other industry, the deeper u get the thicker shiit is. Car audio passion alone wont get u far in this industry.

My 'drea' job is to work on the spl side of things in the marketing department of a car audio company. (I like marketing alot) but I doubt that will even come close to being realized.
</font>[/QUOTE]No Yuli, your dream of working in marketing of the spl side of things for a car audio company will not happy because you have an ignorant attitude. You need a willingness to learn and should listen more.

slow im actually not as ignorant as u might imagine, only to u on here and maybe a few others. but thanks for the kind words, i love it! and as far as willingness to learn and listen more....i got no problem with that. the thing that i do i have problem with is the fact that i see ppl who are able to project a positive image of themselves (as if they know something) rather than actually doing the two things u mentioned moving on up in the industry. I wont name anyone, but Im personally aware of cases where i WOULD NOT give a certain industry job to a certain individual. (and im not reffering to u so u can save your cheesy insults)

Dereck I infact do not have much first hand experiance, u are right on that one. but from the observations that im able to make, things im able to see and hear from people who are involved at a deeper level that is the picture i have drawn out. u ofcourse would probably know better than me, no doubt about that. It's just that from the competitor stand point things look dim when looking into the direction of the car audio industry as a whole. after all who am I (and all other spl guys) to all these car audio companies.....?? nothing but a marketing tool.

yes im aware that competition has nothing to do with the actual jobs in the industry, i was just giving examples from my personal experiance as some of u had asked ^^^

Tim ok then how about this....give me a clue or tell me how to get one. and dont tell me to listen b/c slow already beat u to it and its getting really old. just b/c i dont listen to u that doesnt make me ignorant? or does it? I was always wondering how far in the car audio industry did u get? aside from competing?

as far as not having anything to back up what im saying.....im telling u all this from my personal experiance and the opinion i build based on it......what else would i need to back up my opinion?

and about your comments how car audio industry has all the crap that any other industry does.......didnt i already say that like 10 posts ago?

Why dont more people like Dukk and DWVW etc. have their own car audio company? Tim is the only one I know of. YOu guys are frickin' geniuses, it blows my mind. Tim said you can't make a million in the car audio world... I beg to differ. With your guys' intellect and incredible knowledge, there is no reason why you guys cant make one hell of a company. There are companies all the time that are created and governed by people with a knowledge base even 1/4 that of any of you guys, leave alone all of you. Its frusterating man. I believe in you guys so much. I used to work for the guy that knew the founder of Zapco quite well. I forget the founders name, but he started out not really knowing lots about the industry, but he hired lots of people (that I'll bet still weren't even half as smart as you guys) and look where he is today. Yes he is a mega multi-millionaire that owns many companies not just Zapco. if he can do it... why cant any one of you guys? Honestly, can someone please give me an answer, this is more frusterating then anything
