...too hard on battery?
This doesn't really have much to do with audio but it pertains to my battery so I figured this would be the right place to ask. Me and my friends have trailer parties every friday and we want a strobe light at the party. If I bought a strobe light and cut the plug off would I be able to hook it directly to the battery or would the volts and stuff be all wrong? Also, do you guys think strobe lights draw a lot of power, because I don't want it to affect the performance of my amp and subwoofers too much.
Buy 12v car strobe lights...
OR if you want to go that way - check out the box for the strobe light, it will probably tell you how many watts it consumes. Then buy a small 12vDC to 110vAC invertor that covers this wattage. Some of the lighter socket ones are really inexpensive.
