Question Top few SQL/SPL songs/mp3 to tune? Also big 3 question

Wondering, what top few songs can test and/or help me with tuning my system?

Big 3, might it help me with lights dimming when my subs are pounding? Or just my stock alternator not so great? Noticing it now, as I don't normally drive at night, but with time change and dark on drive home from work.

TIA

Tim

One - Metallica

BIG 3 wont solve your dimming issue, but it will help your voltage. Its probably the cheapest and most efficient electrical upgrade you can do.

I like Pink Floyd because the songs are clear, some songs have a lot of low bass, pipe organs, weird space sounds, lots of frequencies, good music. For just bass with music I like long roll offs, DJ UNK - beating down your block, to me it sounds like 50hz to 27hz, daz dillinger - my system has lows, master p, lil jon, etc. If you have the equalizer to do it, use what you listen to already so it sounds best.

you know its amazing but the black album was really well done and I have used it to demo high end home speakers, I was quite surprised when the sales guy broke that out to demonstrate a set of $2000 reference speakers.

michael jackson, celine dion are are about as good as it gets for quality recordings.
you may not like the music, lol but they are amazing quality

big three can do nothing but help. its cheap quick and easy. it may not solve your problems completely but it may improve.

Thanks guys. I've been meaning to do the big 3 anyways. I may look at an aftermarket alternator, just that might be more down the road at this point.

I'll have to add some Metallica to my collection. I do have Pink Floyd, was listening to "Pulse" (which is live however) recently, and it does sound great. I'll have to raid the wife's Floyd CDs tonight.
