Looking for 3" Aeros.

Where can you buy aero ports cut to certain lengths in the gta area for a decent price? local shops are super rediculous for just a aero port that is like 4" long. looking at getting 2 3" aeros around 10" long fyi.
anyhelp is muchly apreciated.

I know where you can get nice 3"x12"s? Does the 2" diff throws off the tuning a lot?

not so much the tuning, but i cant have a 12" length in the box. too close to the back of the box.

make your own seriously

just get some PVC pipeing the diameter/legth you need and a router, now they won't have those flares like the real aero ports. But you could always heat some oil up like at 150-175 on the stove and put the pvc pipeing in and then with all your wieght push down on the pipe untll you get the flare you want.

lots of ways to makes ports with out spending the big bucks

You can go to a Home Depot and find a pipe adapter to "curve" the port at a smooth 90 degree angle .

Well, they do have 3"x9"

and 3"x12"

I got them for under $20 shipped as far as I remember. Really nice ports, had them working with brahma and xxx sub with no noise issues. The flare is actually more like 4", going to 3 in the middle part, so it should act as a 3" port overall.

Contact Solen.ca, they are in QC.

And as far as PVC. A member on here, Seahag, he doesn't post anymore, but he had various PVC pipes used with Brahma and they all had some kind of noisy issues. It may work, but I wouldn't call it ideal. Depends on your app though. Flares ftw!

If I remember correctly you have 15" MAW?

yup, i got the maw 15" I have tried pvc several times, and yes it is alot harder to get no port noise. the 9" aeros may work for me. i'll have to re-calc by box design a bit and tweak it. i dont want to tune too high, and lose my nice sq. I'll see what i can do. if i can get my box size up a bit the 2 3"x 9" aeros will be perfect. thanks.

after re-checking i think a single 4" aero may suit me better. not as much port area, but still should suffice, plus i can get a lower tuning that way. still going to try and fit 2 3" aeros, but i may just have to settle for a single 4".
