where do you have your rca's for the subwoofers hooked up to? To the Subwoofer output? Sometimes they are sensetive and can tell if its hooked up wrong,(I had a clarion that would do this, and unless you hadd the rca's hooked up to the subwoofer out, it would not let me use the crossover or subwoofer control)

I would also verify with a volt meter at your amp that as soon as you turn on your deck the amp is receiving 12v from the remote lead.

do you have a ground wire connected to the amp?
you only mention a blue power and remote in your post, nothing of a ground.

If your Kenwood deck has both a blue wire and a blue wire with a white stripe on it, make sure you are using the blue with white stripe.

if the fuse is by your feet and you "think" you have the deck wired up properly you should NOT be doing work on your own car. Please go have a pro check it out for you.

Before you injure someone (yourself or a friend) or damage some of your equipment please take your car to a shop and have it checked by someone who knows what they're doing. The fact that you have the main power fuse inside the passenger cabin is wrong for several reasons......never mind the rest of the wiring issues you are having......

For safety's sake do it soon.....please.....
