Delay Turn on/turn off on amps

Anyone know where I can find the little board that would delay the turn on and the turn off of my amps?

Delve into the many mysteries of the 555 IC. You can make leading edge timers, trailing edge timers, or work your way through the astable modes and make your own adjustable tone generator.

I suggest running a relay first before you start adding caps and diodes...it usully takes an extra second to switch after power is turned on. This generally stops any pop on ACC noise.

A relay will give you a short delay. My other suggestion if you want a longer delay is to go to an electrical supplier and get a 12V timed relay. Will be around $15-$20. Alot cheaper and probably better quality then anything you can get with an audio companies name on it
