tweeter just stopped working......

Hmm so yeah i don't know exactly when or what caused it, but a while back i noticed one of the tweeters for my components stopped working. Now the mid still works and it's been way too cold out to even think about taking my dash apart so i haven't bothered.
But just for my peace of mind.....for a speaker to stop working all together it's more than likely just a connection that came off isn't it? Or are there chances that that tweeter could have somehow blown and just stopped working all together?

Either really. Half the time a wire comes loose, half the time it just dies suddenly, and half the time it just crackles while playing.
So you need to ask yourself if you can think of any connection that may have come loose. I know in my car that would be a short thought answered with NO which would mean the speaker is pooched.
