Wouldn't tweeters that close to your ears need a lot of careful attunation to acheive balance with the mids and woofers?

well the mids and woofers are going to be screaming Fing loud, so it could be a good combination...

I was thinking of either trying this or go with my origional plan of one set of 1" domes in the A pillars w/6-10db attenuation and 3" bullet tweeters in the doors next to the midrange..

dukk would say do what sounds best to me, I know... but I'm either doing my door skins with or without bullets.. so I need to decide before I start glassing...

Yes but remember how can the sound stag be efected. The tweets will be beside or just behind your head. To bring your staging forward or ahead of you thats where the components need to be. I'd be looking at putting them in front of you instead.

^ tweeter could be placed on axis with your ears and no path length difference...

Yup the Fieros did have them in the seats (I have 3 of them [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) but I dont belive they came with the B pillars your talking about...they had 4X9's in the front dash and 2 speakers in each seat...
