type r 12's or 15's
i have a m1000 but i dont quite know witch subs to put in. i herd that 15's give sloopy bass so should i go with 2 12's or 2 15's input would greatly be app. your intput will be my outcome so the more the better. i have a neon if that helps?
The box will determine how the sounds will sound.. if they sound "sloppy" it will most likely be because of the box or abuse.. since it's in the trunk of a neon i'd just go for the 2 12's.. i don't think you'll have enough room to go with 2 15's in a decent size box..
good luck and let us know how it turns out

Bass is made by moving a speaker cone slowly, thus physics dictate that all bass is "sloppy". If you take a system that has excellent "bass kick" that is "tight" and well defined and disconnect all speakers but the subs you will be left with a boomy sounding sub system.
The "tightness" or "quickness" of a sub system is pretty much determined by the midbass response and blending of a system, not the subwoofers.
