Yeah seriously, I learned that one the hardway too when I ordered some stuff on the net. USPS is a nightmare.
I think I paid $220 for the item, close to $100 (on top) in tax and holding fees.

It's documented all over the internet (once I started to do some searching). Awful.

Nice looking amps though.

I find UPS to be 1000x worse than USPS in terms of brokerage fee raping

The Canada Post guy in my area doesn't even come to the door. I've been here a year and noticed that I "missed" all my deliveries and would have to pick them up. I figured out after tracking a few packages that I was home each time they "attempted" to deliver the package.

Are you sure you didn't mis-type USPS instead of UPS?
I've been buying everything from car parts to bedding over the last 10 years from the US via Ebay etc.... and have used USPS easily 95% of the time with no bad experiences to date.

Best solution is to have it shipped to a place like CBI or US Address just on the other side of the border and go and bring it back yourself. Can't beat it.

Lol. Yep. Same deal here. "Attempted delivery" and then 3 minutes later I magically have a notice in my mailbox where I can pick the item up.

My sub is being shipped via ups, apparently its been "in transit" for 3 days. Doesnt that make you think "hey, wouldnt that need to stop somewhere at some point?"
