Dude from what I hear, the sign outside of Smithers on the way in actually says "Welcome to Buttf**k Nowhere"
and I believe it.
ICON - Rip n' Tear is a business. They sell franchises to people. There's lots of other franchises for this as well but you find them more in areas with running water (rather than in Smithers)
Basically I recommended he get it fixed professionally. I suppose if he stopped by the local body shop/food store/bowling alley/town hall maybe Cletus the 'paintin' guy' might know how many days drive it is to the nearest dash guy
