What Are The Best Component Speakers?

no such thing as the best...99.999999% of the people can think it's the best, but to that .00000001% it's not! when a product is used by every single person, for every application, maybe then it can be called the best...and only at that moment, for a second later somebody might choose to use something else! Anyway, as most of the members have said, go listen to as many as you can with your favourite music, and then decide what sounds best to you.

The "best" component speakers that I have ever heard are probably the Focal Utopia Be Kit No.6.
They are also something like $7000 per pair.
So you see why you need to be more specific
PG RSD6.5c are really good for under $100
In the $150 range there are so many choices I'm not even going to start
$250 starts getting you into some of the nicer CDT and entry level Focal stuff. The Hertz HSK165s can be had in this range too, and are quite nice.
Personally, I am running active, and can get my entire front stage for around $250 and it should rival $400-500 component sets, so I haven't done much research with the really high end products.

brax makes damn fine speakers. so does dynaudio and morel. but as for "best" components. its widely believed to be between the utopia no.7 kit and the rainbow reference cs 360.30
the rainbow set can be found online for sumthing like 6,500 GBP. 13,000 for us in canada. i dont even want to know what they would cost in a store. chances are unless you are a high ranking competitor with alot of money u wont ever see a reference 360.30 set.
