I have been looking at a subwoofers for my car and even tried a few but I havent been happy with the performance.

I tried buying used and I got a broken subwoofer (returning it now).

With the size of my trunk (2013 camaro) I have decided to go with a single 12 inch subwoofer. The box for two 12s will not give me the mounting depth for a good sub. I found a box that is vented (tuned to 35hz) that fits perfectly in my trunk. I'm running a Kenwood 9104d mono d class amplifier,1800 watts max, at 1 ohm spec say >900 rms at 2 ohm just 900 rms. I have heard that kenwood is over rated so probably less then that.

The question that I would like to hear is what do people think is the best subwoofer for me to add to this system?

I have been looking at ether a Rockford Fosgate T0d2-12. What does everyone here think???


Any help, ideas or links to subwoofers will be greatly appreciated

 

I might be able to get a critical mass SS122. Anybody know anything about these subs? Good/bad????
