What could be the problem?
Also, check the tinsel leads on those subs, if you're getting movement and the subs are sharing a common volume, you may have a broken tinsel lead on one sub. It will still appear to be moving due to the pressure created by the other cone, but will reduce the output significantly.
thanks for all the replys .. im going to look into it more, i called my shop guy and he told me the same thing, its most likely a polarity issue, ima going to bring it in 2morrow morning and see whats going on
taking it to a shop might be a good idea..
otherwise you can check polarity with a 9v battery.... both subs should move out simutaniously when you have + to + and - to -
you should also invest in a multimeter ($20 and up) so you can check that you are getting 12v + DC at the power terminals, at least 1v AC in the RCA's, and the resistance of your voice coil configuration...
