It takes half the fun out of it if everything fits exactly together.....

 

I didn't say they necessarily would fit together....... that is just the kind of practical joke I would do as well. I think I am going to pull that one on my installer.

 

 

anything under type R from alpine sux leave it and listen to these guys. they have the experience and played with alot of equipment.. even if you would get those type E i wouldnt pay more than 50$ for both... had one and it just sounded terrible. in 2 different boxes too

 

get a seald box 4 those sub and a new amp when u want sony makes no good car audio at all

 

Interesting comment.....I have heard a few different systems with Sony equipment in one part or another and frankly I would put Sony car audio up against any other entry level product at the same price point.....

If you are planning on winning SPL comps it's not the brand to go with but for Joe Average who wants better than factory sound from a brand name they know, it's definitely on the list.

For those old enough to remember it, Sony was making some very good car audio 10-15 years ago.....I never did hear a good explanation for why they stopped but stop they did.....
