when i was in vegas i got to hear a new XXX. pretty cool, but not my cup of tea. i don't value excursion enough to trade off high inductance, high mms, and power handling in the 3-4kw range just to reach xmax.

of course, at that level of output, your substage becomes so overpowering that i guess you would only be concerned about getting loud

"Resonant Engineering is now the benchmark for quality & performance per dollar woofers (along with adire, dd, ascendant, to name a few). They can outperform everything if installed correctly (worded loosely)."

All I can say is wow, just wow. Looks like I am going to have to dump every line I sell to get this line. Wait a minute, since we are taught to beleive what we read it must be true, right? Talk about a company doing the Jedi Mind Trick on a consumer, perhaps they also have free real estate for sale.

No offence dude, but if you have zero experience with RE, why post a statement such as the one posted with holes big enough to drive a truck through? I'm sure that RE is a great company, but the statement is a little misleading, same with other parts of the same post.

You know looking at the companies you sell I would drop a few and pick up RE to be honest. They offer a high end woofer better than anything you carry and mid-level woofers that are easily comperable to Audiobahn and Concept offerings. You could probobly drop some others too but I know its hard because people walk in the door with JL Audio and Rockford and MTX in their minds and its hard to convince them there is anythign better for the money.

It's obvious. I don't need to hear a speaker to know that the products are worth the money etc. Sorry for the bladeice link, but I was told it was a canadian dealer. When I said RE is now the benchmark for quality & performance, that does not mean that I am taking away that kind of statement from other audio products. What other subwoofer has a 54mm xmax? Obviously RE makes good speakers, and not just because of it's XMAX (if I didn't say that, someone was bound to rip that statement up saying that xmax doesn't really matter etc). I'm still in the beginning stage of car audio, forgive me. But I'll say it again differently...

PEOPLE WHO HAVE HEARD RE SPEAKERS CAN SAY THEY KICK ***

Take it or leave it.

I think it's best to let people that are able to form opinions be the one to state them, opposed to you stating someone else's opinion... everyone will be better off. If you have an opinion on certain equipment that you have, or have heard, then great.

regards, Mark

speaker looks amazing....i cant imagine that anyone would need anything more......but....how many finals competitors use them.....how many records are broken with them....a few....more than a few......how many did treo break...how many did dd break...how many did jbl break.....and lets not forget pioneer.....right now the best woofer installed properly out there is pioneer.....that pains me to say that ...but it is very true.

this is a great looking sub. i think our opinions are best left for the day after finals and then we can see how many resords are broken and most importantly ...which ones are broken.

Thank you. Over the years I think I've heard more bragging about un-tested and un-proven products than the stuff that does the job day in and day out. Like "shadow" said, the lowly Pioneer seems to be able to hold it's own against all these bad boys that are on the scene. When they have proven themselves over 30 years like the big names have, then they are ready for bragging rights. Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky did not have one great game, they had great careers!
