Just want to hear what people think, im going to be running 2 off a mtx ta81001.

also have 2 kinetik 1400c batts, 2 caps, 250amp alternator, big 3, all 0 gauge wiring
mtx ta7804 for comps
mtx txc6.1 components front and rear
eclipse cd5000 deck.

oh yes and this is all going into a crx.

do you think it will be a huge difference if i face my box towards the front of the car having it pushed right to the back of the hatch, or have it facing the back.... with only like a foot between the subs and the hatch. im probably going to have it facing the front because i think there will be less rattles. will there really be much of a difference in bass loudness to the human ear?

Im running 1 9500 12" off of a TA81001 and love it. With stock alternator I hit 142.7 db. Not the greatest score, but I dont think its too bad for one amp and one sub in a home made box.

I have a crx as well and I've seen a couple more done as well, I would recommend putting the box with the subs firing towards the window. Port right at the opening of the hatch and the subs as close to the ports after that, all firing up.

Our club up here has a guy with 4 original 10" kicker squares and just one premiere 5000spl amp and he hit over 150 so pretty good design so far.

It seems to really bass load the end of the car and comes out strong.

sounds pretty good... did u see any crx's with the subs facing to the front.. yea having them facing the window sounds pretty logical cause the bass should hit the window and project to the front of the car.

I did a 9500 10" in the sledgehammer box off of a ta7801 and he got 140.8 db in a Nissan Xterra. Facing them up would be best, and im sure you could squeeze out 145, maybe more
