I use yellow carpenters glue combined with drywall screws predrilled and countersunk every 3 inches and finish the inside edges with silicone if it's a basic enclosure. All edges meet up clean and I belt sand any high spots before applying glue to both surfaces.

More work is required for an enclosure used for competition.

I have never had an enclosure come apart and we literally broke the handle off of the 10lb sledge demolishing an enclosure that we had to build inside of a Civic piece by piece when the client changed their mind on the size and quantity of the subs they wanted to use. This was after we finished the box and loaded the subs but before we burped them even one time. He was willing to pay for another design so who was I to argue.

Gorilla Glue is a pain.....argh.....you have to spray it with water to make it work, and it needs to be clamped for a few hrs before it tacks enough to do something with it, then it takes the full 24 hrs before you can put any pressure to it.
