He was going to paint them red and stop right there perhaps....

<EDIT> You guys should see the beaut that just came from a shop in Alberta somewhere....yikes.
They deadened only the inner door skin and not the big metal gong outside skin. The F350 is a mighty large door. Next the crossovers were inside of the door right where water can flow onto them. Next they carved up the metal of the door to mount the type R mid into the top and butcher out the bottom to mount the tweeter. Only the tweeter was mounted to a crescent shaped chunk of mdf and attached to the door. Mid was attached with 3 coarse thread drywall screws and all of the metal shrapnel was left to rust in the bottom of the door where the water collects. I'll post some pics later on once I figure out how to. God do I hope that this was not done by someone on this site....maybe I am just picky though.

No...they actually started out a lot more round, but made them to big..so I started trimming them down where needed...and voila!Stop sign speaker adaptors!!LOL

All I know is they wound up being a perfect fit and thats all that mattered in my books...
