I'm in a good mood so I'll ignore the implied statement that I am a moron. I suggest you be a little more polite in the future though - especially to us geriatrics...
I always consider what my time is worth. Would you take 3-4hours to make $20? $50? I won't. I don't know your life situation so maybe that sounds like good money to you but people pay for my time, knowledge, and experience. Any douche can **** up a speaker box, it takes skill and knowledge to make an enclosure (or anything custom) that works well, looks good, and lasts.

No no - your intimation was that it is not worth paying $250+ for an enclosure when the materials are worth only $50. If the materials are worth only $50 then the rest of the price is labour.
