whats ur beef?
Chadxton: You can't really say that you dont give it enough power to move the sub. A long time ago, I once had a phoenix gold zx500 v2, (600+ rms) hitting 2 audiobahns ALUM12X subs that are rated 1000 watts rms each. 300 rms each in bridged mono, and It sounded distorted.. but was loud, thats all I cared about. One day it was moving it so badly, it stopped working... i opened up the box... the spider had dissconected itself, and the lead wires were ripped. Why? cuz i put the gain all the way up, instead of feeding it the correct power, and putting my gain half way. It would of sounded better and I woulda still had those subs. lol.

authorized internet retailers like thezeb.com, and sonicelectronix will provide you with a warranty. They also enforce the idea that their products are NOT refurbished. Why do you think that at BEST BUY CANADA, the cost price / staff pricing for their products are 50% off the retail price. I'm not saying all products are like this, but many are. Look at pioneer, it sells some decks for a grande, while you can get the same one factory fresh for about 500. Comes with a warranty card you fill out and post.

2) The enclosure plays a HUGE part in a speaker's power handling capabilities
3) The PG Ti series was underrated
4) Audiobahn overrates their subs
5) If you clip the crap out of the amp, obviously it's going to produce a lot more than 300 watts

what i dont understand is when people boast about what they are selling saying stuff like "they only gave it 100 rms to it" on subs or speakers that handle 1000 rms. That doesn't show how mint they are in, in fact, thats Worse than someone giving it the proper wattage, because giving a speaker 1/10 of its power handling capabilities will make you turn the volume way up to get the same sound you want in the first place... that will bottom out your subs, create distortion and ruin your speakers/subs. Just saying, I would tell people it was given the proper wattage and was played with out distortion.
another thing that cheeses me off is when people sell something that was retailed say 1000 and used for a year, then they sell it for like 900. Regardless to what they bought it for, the minute you use something, its value decreases to 50-65%, not to mention the COST price is half of the retail anyways!
