I've got a JL 12" W6v2 running off of an Alpine MRD-M500 putting 500WRMS to it. I have it in a ported box built to spec. I love it. Just make sure the trunk is sound deadened and insulated etc.

I thought it had gone to crap for a few months. Took the sub out of the box and found some papers had somehow snaked its way into the box and was resonating againt the motor. Pretty funny now that i think back.

I bought it here from another member used for about $350.

cool stuff man. thats the amp i have. how do you find the tuning aspect of it?
kinda hard to figure out for me... lol

as for trunks... my trunk is 8 feet long without a lid, lol! driving a 2000 gmc reg cab. got rid of the seat in the middle, which is my box space. kinda hard to work with.

Ya tuning the Amp is kinda awkward since it is all Digital and requires tabbing through sub menus. Just study the Manual for 5 minutes and it's not that bad. The only thing is that I need to study the manual for 5 minutes everytime I try to use it.

If this is going into the cab with you and you put it in a spec box you should off to the races.
