whooooooo new question!

How do you go about running multiple amps ? say i had 3 subs, would it be preferd 3 amps, one amp bridged with a second amp or ?

There can be any number of subs ran to one amp.... you do not need to have one sub per amp.

oh :S well then wtf i thought it was one amp to one channel ? unless im mistaken.. and since iv been here these last few days i have been often.. what about the multiple amp question ? just for ***** and giggles, isn't it just a large gauge wire ran back from the battery to a dist.block then to teh amps?

thats what i thought, what about this as many subs to one amp :s ? can anyone answer that for me?

Again, as I posted earlier.... it is all about matching the sub(s) to the amp. I have run thirty two 12" subs off of a 150 watt mono amp before. It is knowing what you can and cannot do that will make or break the system.

i have been looking into new subs. and i dont mean to bother everyone with all my questions so iv been breaking them up into different threads about different things.

Im looking at an amp, on the front of it it says 400 watts rms but in the description it says

2 OHM Output Power - Full Range 1200W
Bridged Power At 2 OHMS - Full Range 1200W
Total Max Power 1200 Watts

so does that mean its 400 watts or 1200 ???
