well, once i disconnect the rear speakers and have it hooked to the front speakers it workes fine. I guess there must be a ground in both of the rear speaker wires. it didnt work with only 1 of the rear ones hooked up (either one). Now my car needs a fair amount of work. Its got a big dent right behind the driver side door and rust along the wheel well, aswell the clear coat is peeling and its running on 3 cylinders. what do you think......sell the car as a parts car for
500$, the shelbys usually go for around 4k when in good shape....

Thats a tough call Dude. It's ur ride, do U like it enough to sink a pile o' money into it? Can you live w/ the down time ? How much of the work can/are you willing to do? Tools ? Space? Neighbours? ect. Your ride, your call ! Good luck whatever you decide!

I suppose it is possible for the rear channels of the amp to have the issue instead of the speakers...

Its unlikely, figuring the problem started with my previous Panasonic deck. Fact of the matter is, everything on my car started breaking in a 1 week span, its like death casted a spell on my car that it will never fully work again.....stupid death....
