anyone tried this box? I've been interested in trying it, maybe with 2 M Power 10s.

I've been on the site and asked some Q's on their forum. Sounds like an exciting setup, and quite easy to re-calculate the box size for different sizes of woofers.

If you got the space, build it. From what I understand it makes 2 10's sound....unlike just having 2 10's.

It's best to use lower excursion drivers that don't require a lot of box space. Something with no more than 12mm xmax. That's what I remember from reading on the site.

my guess is u want to try it for spl in a street class? it's good with little power. (with more power there is an even better box design)
but to get this wicked box to work in a car for spl you have to a major modification to it, it will end up being different from what is on that website.

Wow someone re-vamping some old box technology.

I did a pro audio application where I replaced this type of boxes They used 2 Gauss 15's in these boxes and the drivers handled only 250watts. Wasn't the worlds best sounding or even very loud. The club had 12 of these cabinets. I replaced them with 6 twin 18 JBL cabs and went from a 117 spl in the front of the stage, to a 131 at the same location, with no new power amps.

For boxes........KEEP IT SIMPLE......trust me

Cool

Visions south here in calgary, built one.it's back at the shop collecting dust...i don't think it had the desired output.i actually may have competed against it,slot IS louder in some applications.
