Station Wagon.

I'm kinda strapped for room, I'm gonna make 4 individual boxes and then glue em all together... I'm thinking 1.8 cubes per sub, since I don't really have room for much more. I might but I'll have to go get new measurements... I'm gonna have subs back and ports back, But I might consider your idea of subs up ports back.

Ya, I haven't heard much about station wagons and box designs, but they are probably closer to that of hatches and suv's. You hell bent on 4 12's?

Yea, but I'm open to other ideas... I've had 4 12"s in it before and it pounded for 3 days until I burnt out one of the subs...

What about spending more money on something like 2 15's or even 1 18. At 1.8 feet per 12 you could do 3.6 per 15, or 7.2 if you went with an 18. Something like a couple of dd 3515's would be retarded, or you could give fi car audio a whirl and get a 18" btl. 4 12's would be cool visually, but I guess I am biased since I'm not a huge kicker fan (didn't like my 15l5's that much), and I like quality over quanity when it comes to subs. The 18" btl would also save a ton of money which you could throw else where in your system, and still slam the hell outta the wagon.

I like your thinking on the 18"... Are they really loud? How much do they cost? Link?

I just fell in love with the 18" BTL man... Can you tell me what some of the things on the site mean though? It gives you options for extra features, such as "Universal"... Which ones should I get (I wanted the third magnet) and which are pointless? Also what amp should I get for this, is a 2500d fine? I still need an amp I'm just familiar with 2500ds and they are cheap so.

I'm not completely sure on all the avaliable options on the btl, since i got the bl model, and the official fi forum had a database error and lost the options posted message. I would go fully loaded though, would be better for daily. The universal option allows the ohm configuration to be changed on the fly, but once again I'm not completely sure. If you plan on using the same amp I would just get the daily model. Full cooling includes the p chamfer option as well I believe, full cooling is a high priority on a daily system. I would also get the third magnet and hiXmax coil option. As far as getting loud, think about it: an 18" sub in a like a 7-8 cubic foot box with 2500 rms. I heard that they can take a hifonics collossus (3200rms) daily no problem. Double check on all the options if you can, and check out http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/ for the official fi forum. They will have all the answers if you are really interested.
