woofer on speaker moves out then in when i switch tracks, making a staticky noise.

it kinda does yes. i would check that also

try cutting the 2 wires and flip them resolder them

kk, ill ground the hu, the rcas and switch over the red and yellow wires tomorrow, and ill post to tell you guys if it worked or not.

O.k. that info wasn't in the first post.....

If the deck does it on its own.. then maybe check if any of the speaker leads are grounded or just bench test the deck and see if the deck is defective.

i did everything you guys said, without any improvement, still pops in then out when i pres basically anything on the deck.

anymore suggestions?

you mean try another aftermarket hu in my car? would i have to rewire everything of are the aftermarket plugs all the same?
