Dunno about the rest of you guys in Southern Ont but its nice to have the juice back on. Felt really weird not being able to do anything like last night. Driving around was really strange too, it was like driving on a country road up north, the only lights in the city were headlights.

Got my power on around 3pm today. Almost 24 hours. The insurance thing is true but then there's deductables to be paid, then you have a claim on your file in an era where insurance companies will drop you just because they feel like it... I'm sure many people will just eat the loss which is money out of their pockets no matter which way you look at it.

each claim in the 800-900
his insurance dropped him and black listed him

Yup insurance will certainly drop you I had a flood in my house a couple years ago although the City said it was there fault insurance still dropped me. Hopefully nothing will happen in the future or I'm screwed.

Im surprised you-all noticed the power was out at all! I was in the truck watcin movies playin with my laptop and PS2 almost the whole time! The crazy thing about it all was the amount of ppl walkin around the city! I thought all the hotties parents moved them out of the Toronto, (gotta keep those girls away from us thugs!) turns out, hot girls like air conditioning better than hot weather! What can I say? My kneck is still sore!

We were without power for 21hrs, but had a great time on Thurs. Practically the whole neighbourhood brought their cold beer to the beach and we swam and drank, and watched the smoke from the chemical valley and then looked to the north and wondered when the fallout from the Bruce Nuclear was gonna hit

Was only at work for 1hour the next morning before they sent us home searching for food, more beer, and ice.
