Would it be ok to beat this seller to death with a dead groundhog ?

I buy stuff on ebay and have always gotten what I expected. I shop very carefully though.
For sure this is a scam and Ebay should take care of it.

how about supporting your hard working local car audio store instead of some internet shmuck sitting on his *** in front of a computer screen somewhere in new jersey, in his underwear, eating a can of hormel chili,..,out of the can...,and watching jerry springer reruns... get the picture? put a face to the product , and build a working relationship with a local shop(unless they suck badly).

EBay can be a great resource for older stuff especially when there would be no warranty to begin with. Newer stuff, not too sure.
By the way, he should be beaten but it would be an insult to the dead groundhog. Think about the innocent little ones.

well, whats happens is , the seller puts in a "non paying bidder" report and a strike goes on the buyers record, if to many stikes are accumulated, you are suspended and possible banned from using the site.....on another note, i love ebay i have baught almost my whole system on there i got 3 rockford HX2's dual 2 ohm voice coils shippied to my door for $260 and i got a rockford 1500 BD shipped for $300 all canadian dollars and lots lots more...sure ya don't get any warrantee but so what ...for the price ya pay ..you could buy another one and still pay less than the retail price of one
