I understand this is a new CCA, but I do not agree with you posting private messages from other people who can not defend themselves because they are banned.
Don't get me wrong, some people deserved to be banned, but others do not. It's like you are trying to justify your banning of members? I see it as play by the rules or don't play...but don't chop off your nose to spight your face.
There are a lot of people who promote and recommend this site to other people and industry members. Don't for get that. A statement like "wow, So this is..." I find truely offensive.
Without industry members supporting this site...well enough said.
I do not know what set off Ryan, but I know Ryan pretty good...he supports and promotes the industry. I believe all issues between people can be solvled by a simple phone call. You can not tell a person's intend or context of a statement read in a email or on the internet. I know a lot of industry members that have been now banned...they are passionate about one thing. Car audio, of course when they are confronted with issues on this forum they lash out. Being passinate about your job or hobby, can be a great thing or your greatest downfall. my 2 cents.

What is spam I’m sure you’re wondering? Coming to the site, and in 1 minute posting multiple threads saying “THIS IS ****IN GAY JOIN SITE ***********.COM” is not right. He was banned, good riddance.
I will be the first to admit that the biggest trouble makers are from the west. And it keeps getting better.
This isn’t a democracy westec, Ryan doesn’t get anymore chances. I will continually ban him every time I’m aware that he’s back on the site, his days are over, much like Tims, Defros etc.
Justifying the banning of members, I don’t need to, the rules do. Its no different than your boss defro going around telling my mods to “suck his dick”. Sure, I mean, who isn’t looking for a freebie BJ, but now, he is banned and he can take his shop with him. Another class act from the west.
Do you seriously believe that guys like that are an asset? Do you really think I care if he owns 1 shop or 15, or runs a 100? Please No more Andre’s here!
His actions hurt his shop, not me or CanadianCarAudio.
I guess I am known to cut off my nose to spite my face, I can take it, ive been known to do it a few times in life. To me Westec, trash goes out on garbage day, you don’t keep it around. Play by the rules, fine. Make a mistake, get a warning, you have other chances. Get banned, email me and tell me what’s up, ill remove it. Come to the site, post that you’re going to bash my face in when you see me, *laugh* umm, ok, banned?
You’re right, I do believe there are a “Few” people that really did promote the site that have been banned. Some from within the industry and some just enthusiasts. Guess what, CCA will survive no matter how you cut it. Peoples free for all to conduct business is over. Everyone had a chance to comply to the rules and some did, some didn’t. They chose how they wanted to go out.
Ive done a ton of work to ensure that CCA promotes itself, this is why you will find CCA is #1 on google for car audio.
As for Ryans’ situation. He’s done here. Scene Judge or not. Id love to meet the person that employs him and congratulate him on hiring this guy, a class act.
Id love to lash out and tell some people what I really feel but I “try” to handle myself a bit more professionally. I don’t get the chance like your boss to run around saying “HEY EVERYONE, SUCK ME OFF”, which really, I suppose I could but its not me. Talk is cheap westec, when you and your friends learn that, you will be that much better off.
Don’t like the site, leave. These idiots get banned and keep coming back, like the Ryans, like the Tims. I call it like I see, on the net, on the phone and in person.

99% of the business owners who have been spamming the site doing business without being a vendor are gone. Site still grows and will continue to grow for years.. This is with vendors or not. All this has been has been an opportunity for some car audio business’s to get some exposure and money, no one is holding a gun to their head. Everyone is free to NOT promote their shop.
Your approach on the situation would be my approach, things change in life, adapt or move on, the internet is a big place.
We still allow show promoting, calendar and all. Infact, usually when the guys add it I take the info and add to the other sites I run.
All the staff are interested in shows too, I love going
In a prefect world, I would get along the defro’s, ryans and tims of the site. They would promote their business properly, get a ton of exposure, make some money and everyone would be happy. But nothing is perfect in life.
