wow. you guys do realize that they are not re-building the whole XM satellite radio network just for Canadians??? all of the channels are the same except for the Canadian content and the exclusion of the US news content......i don't like being force fed by the CRTC, but i also don't have to listen to the channels i don't want to listen to. that's why there are more than one channel.....????

I'll take my Canadian XM Radio (same radio that is in the US but with my Canadian designated serial number) and be happy that I'm keeping the Canadian economy growing and keeping my fellow Canadians employed by keeping my money in Canada. Plus this way I don't have 40 or so junk channels (weather and traffic in US cities) to listen to. Plus I might get to hear some new and up coming Canadian artists (if I want to listen to one of the Canadian channels) and hear something before the American's do.

they may be built there but teh peopel selling them are making money off of it so it still elps the country more then buyign a us one off ebay
