I agree... Maybe try 4-10" L7s.
IMO the Kicker is better then the Rockford.

Or you could try just putting all that power to one high end 12" and port your box, might be louder...who knows.

Are you talking Punch HX2 or Power HX2?

have u checked the mounting depth on the Hx2? they r pretty beefy subs, and if u say u only have 7" deep u don't really want anything with more then a 6" mounting depth. I had a Memphis PR 12", was pretty nice for the price, got loud and i believe had under 7"mounting depth. i think u should put a little more thought into this one! u were soooo set on 8L7's and look what happened hehe good luck with your choices.

well i have already done all the research, i thought that i said the subs have 7 inch mounting depth...if not....i am saying it now...the subs have 7" mounting depth...i have 9 inches to work with, so ther is no trouble there, but thanks for the concern

well 9" is enough mounting depth to work with. why can't u go 12"s? width issue? or r u just worried about finding one with that small of a mounting depth.

all in all i think u could find something much nicer then 4 power HX2's for the price, esspecially when u plan to run 4+ kw to them.

let me know all ur restrictions.

well i had 2 12" punch HX2;s which were great but i found them to blurred together for my liking....i wasn't getting the sounds deffinition that i wanted....so i went to my L7's and i love them , but i want to see everything that is out there....if i find tha ti like the L7's more than everything else tha ti try then eventually i will get more L7's....ya know what i mean?...my box is a wedge box..outside demensions are 10" at bottom and 6" at top...i think....and i have about 60" of lenth the work with give or take a few inches and it is all 1" MDF
