16volt setup

16volt setup

i want to step up to a 16volt setup.im already in the works of adding a second 300amp alt.
whats a good battery and voltage regulator to look into.
all ideas and suggestions would be very helpful.

im an old schooler.im still catching up on some of this new technology.

Power master batts and transco 911 regulator. it is external reg with adj voltage

I have a powermaster alternator with the adjustable regulator built in. Adjustable from the backside of it. Hook up 2 of the step down converters to the vehicles electronics. Main starter wire goes to the 16 volt bank or to a 12 volt battery if you decide to keep it in.

thanks for the info.
by chance has anyone used the (Team CS 9000)batteries by cactus audio.
wondering if they are worth the money.

Nice people, can anyone give a link of these external regulators?

About the batteries a very good one seems to be Stinger 2150.

Stinger 2150 very good battery for the over all cost.
but i want something better.
thats why i was looking at the cactus batteries.

Neither the Cactus CS9000 or the Stiger 2150 are 16v batteries...

so i guess its back the the powermaster batteries.

anyone know of a location in Canada to get powermaster batteries.

We tested 5x haze 18Ah in parallel and not were better than a 2150.

I do not know what batteries are inside a Cactus, anyone knows?

Dale at Custom in Cranbrook B.C.may have some 16v ones still. It will save you alot of duty headache too.
