lol no prob nick, i know ab makes good products, i was just pointing things out he might not know. It wouldnt be good business for you to say yeah ab is good but x brand is better. The kid still really needs to decide what he's looking to realistically acheive before he buys anything tho. No way in hell is he gonna get 10kw in his car, and no way in hell his subs are gonna take 10kw in the enclosure he's gonna have to use in that bimmer if he does goto 16v. AB killed at finals cause no other company in NA had a dual stacked amp available for competitors to use, ab really stepped it up last season and gave what the other companies didnt.

Is the american bass amp 5000 watts at 1 ohm? Because people are telling me its 5000 watts but when i go to the actual website it shows thats its 6500 watts. So im confused on the specs, please get back to me
ive never seen a single 500.1 ever make 4000w, mine only ever gave me 2300 at most on a single nsb75 where my atomic 5k gives me 4200+ measured output watts on the same battery. Mind you im running the atomic lower than i did the AB. I did however see a 500.1 make 7400 measured output watts on 16v which was really impressive. Either way you cant go wrong with AB or Atomic IMO.

Don your car is the only 1 in the whole world that got those kind of results. The euros tested the 400.1 against a cactus 5k and the 400.1 was 3 tenths louder and the 400.1 is not as efficient as a 500.1 or make as much power as a 500.1. Trust me bro it was your rise and thats it the 500.1 will make large power at .9-1.1 ohm after rise. Don what did you run the 500.1 at and what is the rise in you car.
off a single 500.1 on 2 optima 31 series I was always over 4kw output with the car off rise just barely over 1ohm... on a different sub in the same box my impedance rise was 0.93 and was averaging 43xx watts
