I could be wrong.. but don't the xs50's put out like 600w RMS?

So each one of your 15" L7's is getting about 300w RMS.

Yes the XS50 does 600rms at 1ohm mono.
He is also running first gen L7's which are basically the L5's when the silver cone L7's came out.
The rms on those will be lower and even though the XS50 is underrated they could still take more power for spl runs.
