Are you going to be involved in any shows this year?
Who did the install?
WE (hamilton audio) did the install for a customer from Tbay

I will run two 7k2D's @ 18V in my system for a daily setup so I don't think one is over kill.

We need to talk about holding shows out in your area too. I am sure we could get alot of spectators out if we bring out some impressive vehicles.
LOL, not to worry about the shows, brian(my brain at hamilton audio, not your brain) plan on holding a show or two and plan to purchess a termlab sometime in spring

Hey don! It was myself that wrote the "review" for Brian in that email hahah. We jumped thru some hoops to make this 7K work for this customer (getting it from Miami over the holidays namely). Performance Plus (brian specifically) has been tremendous in following thru to make it work.

Overall that amp punishes those subs at 2 ohms in a major way....we were working with the 4 SE10's he already had - and initially intended to go with a 4K but custy suggested "lets go real big" cause those 10's will be a this-summer-only thing with plans to go real big next winter.

Yuli - how's my buddy chris doing? Too bad he's not doing RE anymore - I could sell the out of it here in Winnipeg! Overkill? Yep...just the way I like it. And from my "seat of the pants" termlab (and having owned and sold a termlab along the way...) I would "guess" this system is very high 40's with music at LEAST....another termlab is in the spring - the new shop is up and running and I can actually use it again!

Don - I'm all for holding shows - I've got a large parking lot to use - lets rock it.

I wasn't given an option for the 16v version....power ratings in the manual (which was a shitty photocopy, btw) was at 12.6 and 13.8. I've not heard any negative feedback yet

Bmoney we can certainly work out the details on a show, Winnipeg has always had massive attendance at shows in the past and they were really fun to attend. We will have to set up a time to meet up and set shows up.

With the new 7k2d there isn't no 16v version. Don has competition versions that where modified. But when you buy a 7k2d it 12v ready. You are referring to the old 7kd had a 12v and 16v version. 98% of the older 7kd's produced where 16v version and the 12v version was mainly for competition and there where only a few out there.

7k2d is for daily 12v system. 10k same board as 7k2d but is also strappable and can take 18v and has dual power and ground inputs. Still daily usable but with competition in mind too. Price difference is only around $100.
