dynamat usually doesnt help people for SPL.
things u could try, A high tuned box just for spl.
For electrical
Do your big three, all your grounds and positive from altenator with 0 gauge wire
Im not sure if u plan on running 2 batteries or just one, but a group 31 yellow top will be better good enough. and as for an altenator call up team shadow for a high output altenator.
upgrade power and ground. if you are running 4 gauge, go down to 0, if your running 1 run of 0 gauge, run 2 runs of 0 gauge.

yeah the device they are talking about is probably an external regulator.
Try building your own spl boxes, try sub up port into the car, sub/ports into car whatever works. sub up port into the car worked best in my dads 300 but it all depends on the car.

It's all in your box. Made and tuned for SPL.
And lots of current flow.

Power, ground, speaker wire, etc.
